Here you’ll find the Dakota Concierge’s personal recommendations for the places to eat, drink and visit in the area.
John’s personal favourite’s
John has worked for Dakota for almost 5 years, he loves to help the guests of Dakota have the best stay posible whilst ejoying what the City has to offer. His personal favoutite from their in-house restaurant, Dakota Grill is the USDA Black Angus Fillet steak accompanied with wild mushrooms and a side of french fries, he likes to wash it down with a medium glass of Tuscan, Brunello di Montalcino.
If you want to meet up with friends or find somewhere with more of a party vibe, John is recommending the cool and new Diecast, or for a more laid back and super-chilled option Ducie Street Warehouse.
If it’s more traditional pub food you’re after then John say’s you have to try The Pen & Pencil. Burgers and sandwiches, perfect for soaking up a few beers as well as a bottomless brunch and great breakfast options for the morning after.
For late night beer muchies you could try BAB NQ with their refined take on the traditional British kebab. Watch out for the spicier offerings!
For the pizza lovers there is Ciaooo Neapolitan Pizzeria and if you want a more traditional Italian sit down meal, Siclian NQ is a favourite with locals.
