Bistro Marc at Winter’s

Restaurant - French

Bistro Marc at Winter’s is an authentic French bistro located in Stockport’s iconic Winter’s building, known for its unique automated clock and figures. The Winter’s building is a Grade II listed local landmark and part of Stockport’s heritage trail.

The restaurant serves traditional French cuisine inspired by the dishes Chef Marc enjoyed in his local Parisian bistro while growing up. Head Chef and owner, Marc Molé, is a classically trained French chef who was born and raised in Paris. Bistro Marc at Winter’s is a family-run establishment – co-director and business manager Rachel Winter Jones met Chef Marc on a surprise blind date in a Paris bistro back in 2004 and the rest is history.

The à la carte menu offers a range of classic French dishes, including french onion soup, chicken Normandy style, and beef bourguignon. Other options include camembert fondant fermière, leeks in vinaigrette, and wild mushroom tart. The restaurant also offers a range of seafood dishes, including pan-seared sea bass and mussels with frites.
