Allotment Manchester

Allotment Manchester may have some potted plants dotted around and some wooden planks here and there but this is definitely NQ bar not garden shed. All the botanicals round here are in gin and Allotment do make a very good G&T.

The food is hearty and British and not as plant-based as the name might suggest. You’ll find things like steak and ale pie, rib-eye and a bacon double cheeseburger with a big beefy flavour – all thanks to the bone marrow.

It’s a pretty meaty menu but there are a couple of plant-based options like roasted celeriac with charred cauliflower and pine nuts.

Allotment Manchester is a relaxed bar for a get-together with friends (and the four-legged variety are welcome too).
