Mule
Mule, set just on the sidelines of trendy Cutting Room Square in Ancoats is a charming brunch restaurant that is perfect for an aesthetically vibey coffee catch-up. The interior is beautifully designed in a neutral tan colour scheme with an elegant bar and an open kitchen.
The main dining area may be small but the covered terrace on Blossom Street adds extra seating – a real sun-trap on Manchester’s warmer days. Find brunch and bar options on the menu, with dishes including chorizo hash and huevos rancheros. The Bloody Mary is a must-try with its unique flavour from the rosemary syrup and a spicy kick that will certainly perk you up.
Dessert options include a rich chocolate cake from a local baker, Half Baked. Despite being described as having “transportative desert-bar environs”, Mule offers a calm escape from the busy Cutting Room Square.
