JD Gyms Liverpool City Centre
The Dale Street JD Gym, or JD Gyms Liverpool City Centre as it’s officially called, is a hit with younger gym goers and not just because of its highly Instagrammable architecture.
At under £30 a month, it’s a budget chain but with the feel of a boutique gym. The unique design of the listed building, the changing room saunas, and the classes with their own cult following make it seem a cut above your bog-standard gym chain. While the seriously well-stocked gym floor, with plentiful cardio machines, free weights, resistance area, sled track, and boxing bags, attracts a very fitness-focused clientele.
Its popularity is its main downside; it can get very busy so try it out at various times of day to get a feel for whether it’ll suit you. You can buy a £10 day pass in the vending machine in the entrance which includes classes. Bring a padlock for the lockers or buy one there.
