The Cheese Hamlet
The Cheese Hamlet is a family-run independent business that sells all sorts of delicious food and drink, as well as cheese.
The owners are regular judges on the international cheese competition circuit so they know a good Stilton. It also means they’re able to discover new producers and cheeses for their Didsbury shop.
From Bleu d’Auvergne and Baron Bigod to aged Red Leicester and Rachael Reserve goat’s cheese, you’ll find everything you need for your cheeseboard, including a great selection of crackers from Miller’s and Peter’s Yard besides chutneys and other accompaniments, including Port.
As well as cheese-focused food, The Cheese Hamlet also sells local handmade pork pies, a huge array of olives, home-cooked meats, bread from local bakeries, local chocolates and coffee beans which can be ground to your requirements. We really like the look of the cheese wedding cakes too.
