Bierkeller
If dancing on tables with two-pint steins is what you’re after, head to Bierkeller in The Printworks. This Bavarian-themed bar is best known for its live oompah bands which play at weekends. It’s a raucous night out complete with lederhosen and copious amounts of German beer.
You’ll also find pub quizzes, comedy nights, and watch parties for the big events like the Grand National and Eurovision. There’s a dedicated sports bar, Shooters, which can show up to three live events at once on its many LED screens and projectors, and there are five American pool tables too.
The menu consists of typical Bavarian-style dishes including würste, and fritten (signature loaded fries) as well as some other nibbly bits. It’s affordable, quick and easy, designed to fill you up and have you back to the booze in no time.
