Provence Wines, located in the heart of Spinningfields brings a refreshing and innovative approach to the traditional wine-drinking experience. With over 80 wines from regions around the world, Provence offers a menu categorised by “wine moments” rather than the standard regions or flavour profiles.

The bar can seat up to 50 guests indoors, with an additional 16 seats available outside on the terrace. Provence is also available for private bookings and offers a relaxing atmosphere for wine enthusiasts to taste and savour their selections.

The bar opens early for coffee and a rotating breakfast menu provided by Ancoats bakery Companio, with a refined selection of small plates, charcuterie boards, cheese, and seasonal sharing platters available in the evenings.

For those seeking an alternative to wine, Provence offers a concise cocktail menu, craft beers, low-alcohol options, and a wine jukebox that allows guests to sample a rotating selection of eight wines. The bar also offers bookable “wine-oke” sessions complete with entertainment, games, and wine tastings, led by the in-house wine aficionado.

The founder of Provence, Anthony Ellis, and his team are passionate about wine and aim to create a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere, where guests can ask questions, taste, and enjoy fantastic wines.
