Switch CoffeeBar
Switch by name and switch by nature, Liverpool’s Switch CoffeeBar transforms from a daytime coffee shop to a neon pink cocktail bar at 5pm every day.
When it comes to the day job, Switch gets it right with ethical Dead Good coffee, pastries and super-fast wi-fi making it a great place for remote working and idly doom-scrolling. As well as your usual order, take the opportunity to try out Switch’s more inventive options like the espresso tonic.
The evening isn’t a complete changeover as many of the cocktails are coffee-inspired. As you’d expect, Switch does a mean espresso martini as well as an interesting coffee-infused old fashioned.
If coffee’s not your thing, La Senorita offers a sharp and citrussy tequila option while the Banana Cooler is tropical and fruity.
The cocktails are well-made and inspired by New York cocktail culture although the decor makes Barbie and Legally Blonde look muted. There are tables outside if it all gets too pink.
Open: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun
