Vanilla
If you’re looking for a lesbian bar and club in Manchester, chances are you’ll find yourself at Vanilla. It’s been a fixture of the lesbian scene in the North since 1998 and has won various ‘best lesbian bar’ awards over the years. It recently moved from its longstanding home on Richmond Street over to Area on Sackville Street (formerly Tribeca) where it takes over every Friday and Saturday night.
It’s a bigger venue but the vibe is the same. Head there for a soundtrack of urban, afrobeats and rnb, and a cool, lively crowd. If you want a night of dancing and drinking with likeminded girls, this is your place. Entry is free before 11pm.
