Award-winning Ancoats pub The Edinburgh Castle is known for being a fixture of the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs. Currently, it’s gone back to basics as a beautifully restored, traditional Victorian pub.
It’s popular on matchday but it’s classy too. Think cask ales and cocktails by candlelight rather than wall-to-wall Sky Sports.
The cosy nooks and comfortable leather seating mean The Edinburgh Castle is a great place for wasting time, idling away the hours with a pint of Guinness.
With its Cutting Room Square terrace, it’s not just a Winter warmer of a pub too. This is a year-round favourite with the Confidentials team.
