Croma Chorlton

Croma is a Chorlton institution. It’s not a hipster pizza joint but it is solid, dependable and popular for a reason. Its pizzas are a bit more imaginative than the usual fare with classics like margherita and americana supplemented by the likes of originals such as chicken Caesar or anatra (duck and hoi sin sauce) as well as gourmet pizzas like funghi di bosco – a mix of field, oyster and Paris brown mushrooms drizzled with truffle oil as well as regularly changing seasonal specials.

It’s always busy but because it’s so light, bright and spacious, it never feels overcrowded. Staff are used to dealing with the throng, whether bringing bottles of Prosecco or boxes of crayons, it’s all done with charm. As you might have guessed from the crayons, Croma Chorlton is a firm family favourite and so it should be with good value early bird specials. On a sunny day, the tables in the glass-covered terrace at the front are a winner.
