Le Viet Social is an independent Vietnamese restaurant serving up dishes that stay true to its roots. Think vibrant street food, wholesome bone broth pho and casual favourites like banh mi or loaded fries.

The menu is eclectic and lively, like a night out in Hanoi. Confidential Guides loves the fresh crispy spring rolls, the bun cha and the shaking surf and turf with king prawns and sirloin steak.

Pho is something of a speciality with a rich, deep house broth simmering away for 72 hours. The executive pho really takes it to the next level – order the one with beef rib, oxtail, brisket and rare beef for a carnivorous infusion that makes you feel tip-top. Forget chicken soup – this is a big bowl of soothing medicine for the soul.

Le Viet Social is casual enough for lunchtimes (and they have a great daytime offer with three courses for £20) but special enough for evenings and date nights – especially with all those cocktails.
