Level 3 Lounge & Restaurant
The on-site restaurant at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel, Level 3 offers everything from breakfast and afternoon tea, through to late dinner. As expected, the menu is designed to cater for international palates offering a wide selection of flavours from around the world.
Graze your way through olives and halloumi fries, before going totally classic with a prawn cocktail starter. Other small starter dishes on the restaurant’s main menu include buffalo chicken wings and Florentine fishcakes with a caper dressing.
Main courses could range from rib-eye steak with chunky cut ships to pan-fried hake served with ribbon vegetables, but vegans and vegetarians are well catered to – teriyaki tofu, mushroom and truffle linguine and Indian grain salad with crispy bhajis give decent choice for those who prefer a veggie diet.
The ever-popular afternoon tea offering includes traditional finger sandwiches, scones and sweet treats to help keep your shopping strength up – there’s even Vimto trifle and Manchester tart to give you a taste of some local specialities.
