Another neighbourhood favourite in the now achingly hip Cutting Room Square. NAM’s light and airy space with its natural parquet floors and glossy white brick bar echoes the light and healthy Vietnamese cuisine on the menu.
All the classics are here from traditional beef broth pho, to translucent summer rolls exposing the pink prawns snuggled up inside and served with an intense peanut dip. There are numerous vegan options as well, of course, including banana blossom bao buns.
NAM is just as popular as a bar, serving a range of Asian beers as well as all the usual suspects and some inventive cocktails like the vivid orange Night Market Rum Punch.
They regularly host Manchester’s hippest DJs in their basement and hold one-offs like pop-up plant shops, art exhibitions and record fairs.
Keep an eye on the NAM Facebook page for details of their ever-changing events.
