North Garden
North Garden is a part of Liverpool’s culinary history. This family-run restaurant has been serving seriously addictive Cantonese dishes for well over 30 years.
After a recent refurbishment, North Garden now balances its heritage with clean lines and a modern simplicity. The food isn’t afraid to keep up with the times either.
As well as traditional dishes like steamed knuckle in black bean sauce and the legendary three meat roast on boiled rice, you can also find foods that cater to modern tastes. Basically, a lot of salt and pepper. You can even get salt and pepper lobster if you order ahead.
It’s this ability to give customers exactly what they want that has seen North Garden increase its popularity with a coveted spot as one of the vendors at Blackstock Market. Don’t miss the specials at this massive food hall – the Irish spice bag is a big thing.
Confidential Guides loves the deep-fried fish which is actually eel and the char sui wonton noodle broth. The pork is roasted fresh every day and it might just be the best char sui in Liverpool.
