Owen’s Kitchen and Bar
2023 new opening Owen’s Kitchen and Bar has fast become part of the furniture in Urmston, almost like it was always there.
The decor balances the line between cosy and classy with free-standing wine coolers at each table, and upcycled old-timey decorations like vintage record players. It’s all very coherent and well-thought-out, with two floors of seating plus a quaint bar with all the spirits you’d need to make a quality cocktail.
Typical dishes on its seasonally-changing menu include an Indo-British inspired Grandad’s butter chicken, and medallions of Cheshire pork. End on their take on traditional desserts, such as salted caramel profiteroles and poached pear with berry sorbet.
