Stock Market Grill

Restaurant - British

The Stock Market Grill, at the Stock Exchange Hotel in the heart of Manchester’s city centre, is set to open its doors under the leadership of sibling duo Joe and Daniel Schofield and wine expert James Brandwood. With a proven track record at Schofield’s Bar, Atomeca and Sterling, this dynamic trio takes the Stock Exchange Hotel to new heights.

The Stock Exchange Hotel, named the World’s Best New Luxury Hotel in 2019 and the Leading Hotel of the Year in 2022, is a magnificent listed building with 40 rooms, suites and a fully serviced residence, private spaces and the popular subterranean bar, Sterling. The Stock Market Grill will join this impressive roster and is located on the former trading floor, under its ornate domed ceiling.

Head Chef Joshua Reed-Cooper, previously at The French, Where the Light Gets In, and Michelin-starred Mana, will be offering an all-day menu filled with elevated British Brasserie classics using the finest local ingredients. The menu features traditional dishes such as oysters with mignonette, rabbit suet pudding with mustard cream, and blood orange tart with clotted cream.

Joe Schofield explains their vision for the Stock Market Grill, “We aim to create one of the best restaurants in the North of England, right here at the Stock Exchange Hotel, and to provide an experience to remember, highlighting the stunning architecture of the dining room and the food on the plate.”

Gary Neville, owner of the Stock Exchange Hotel, is equally excited to be working with the Schofield and Brandwood team again, adding “I know they will bring another world-class brand to the Stock Exchange Hotel and to our city.”
