TAPA
TAPA is a small plates restaurant and bar. Don’t be confused by the name; the menu may be inspired by the Spanish tapas tradition but there is global inspiration behind the dishes on the menu.
Choose from a seasonal selection of relaxed snacks like sweet chilli and sesame tiger prawns with wasabi remoulade, veal jus glazed pig cheek with parsnip purée, or spiced lentil dahl with corn tortilla chips.
One of TAPA’s specialities is parms – fried potato pieces served in myriad ways. The poutine parms are very good.
It all adds up to a memorable meal, but you’re more than welcome to just turn up for drinks and some home-roasted cashews at this welcoming little spot.
Watch out for offers because a trip to TAPA can be very good value. There are midweek BYOB deals, reductions for food bank donations and other random discounts announced on socials.
