This greasy spoon with indie cool is a true Mancunian institution. Established in 1978, the Koffee Pot used to live on Stevenson Square before it moved round the corner to Oldham Street (and got a retro-chic glow-up while it was at it). It’s a café by day and taco bar by night. Think decent bar that does excellent fry-ups and you’re on the right track.

The breakfasts are renowned for curing even the worst of hangovers. Or if you’re in the mood for something a little more adventurous, check out the kitchen collab with Birria Brothers Tacos.

A Northern Quarter original, the Koffee Pot is a must-visit if you’re looking for a truly authentic Manc dining experience.
