Hooked on the Heath
Hooked on the Heath is an upmarket chippy in a former public toilet block in Knutsford. Co-owner Craig Buckley has been in the fishy business for over a decade and along with Victoria Howard and Chris Johnson they have quickly made a name for themselves with the locals.
This sustainable fish and chip shop fries up fabulous versions of all the usual favourites (cod, haddock, scampi) but there are seasonal specials too, like oyster and monkfish. The ‘out-of-this-world’ batter is a particular draw.
Vegetarians are catered for with battered halloumi, and on Wednesday nights, Hooked on the Heath goes gluten-free.
