Things to do in Manchester for football fans

Coming to Manchester for an away game or a big match? If you’re making a weekend of it, there’s a few places you’ll want to check out (and they’re not all pubs). Here we’ve listed shops, museums, and sights that’ll appeal to the football-loving visitor to Manchester and hometown supporters too – including the Manchester United stadium tour and the Manchester City stadium tour.

There’s lots to see and you’ll likely get thirsty along the way, so we’ve put a few Manchester football pubs and bars in there too. Head to these neutral spots (neither red nor blue) for a friendly atmosphere, big screens and some of the finest beers our city has to offer.
