Fress
Established in 2017 in what was then the outer reaches of the Northern Quarter, Fress remains resplendent in chic black-and-white tiles with splashes of shiny gold, although the culinary focus has shifted from fancy à la carte evenings to fun all day.
Indie Fress has always prided itself on locally sourced, homemade scran, but the influences now come from further afield – brunch serves up American-style pancakes, waffles and eggs, burgers and wraps, and French toast.
Bottomless Boozy Brunch offers up unlimited Prosecco and Mimosas, there are dessert cocktails and 241 Pornstar Martinis all day every day, the afternoon teas for two start at £20 a head, then there are shakes, craft beers, mocktails and shot trays, plus cake of the week, if you still have capacity.
