Crafthouse
The slick Crafthouse restaurant serves up seasonal British fare from a roof-top perch. It’s a D&D group restaurant, and like their Manchester operation, 20 Stories, it has a spacious outside terrace and bar. But the real draw is the food.
World-class fine dining, using the best of British ingredients, is guaranteed. The menu includes a compact a la carte collection and josper grill section, typically serving up charcoal-seared rib-eye, fillet and sirloin steaks, amongst other options.
The menu could take in whisky smoked salmon with black vinegar powder, wild deer with a sweet and sour pear and black pudding fritter, or a sumptuous ‘modern’ Sachertorte. It’s all British, with a canny twist.
Wines are solid, and booking is essential – this is one of Leeds’ most popular hot spots, as is its penthouse Angelica bar.
