Tre Amici
ItalianTre Amici is Bury’s own Neapolitan-style pizzeria, complete with 48-hour rested dough for that fold-it-up and shove-it-in experience.
The setting is standard high-street pizza place: simple and rustic with cheery red and white tablecloths. There’s also a pleasant bar serving Italian cocktails and wines.
On the menu, you’ll find a range of classic antipasti such as bruschetta and cured meats. The pizzas generally stick to standard Italian toppings: parma ham, rocket, olives and so on. Their homemade tiramisus are worth leaving space for: choose from the traditional coffee flavour and their sweeter strawberry tiramisu.
Tre Amici is not the kind of restaurant that would make an impact in Manchester city centre, where there are too many other Italian places offering a similar thing. But it’s a great addition to Bury – it gives residents the option of spending locally rather than having to tram-it into town for light-as-air Neapolitan pizza.
