Trove Ancoats

Bakeries

Trove Ancoats is the younger sister of the original Trove in Levenshulme which built its name through fantastic bread and an ‘everything made from scratch’ philosophy.

Situated in foodie Ancoats, this one has kept the same winning formula. Head there for inventive brunch dishes such as crab, brown butter and salsify with almond and sorrel on toast. Or keep it simple with a slice of their sourdough (it’s a bakery as well as a cafe) with homemade jam or homemade peanut butter.

The counter displays more home-baked treats, from croissants to tarts to granola. You’ll be tempted to buy tomorrow’s breakfast to take home with you, and probably brunch for the day after too. Trove also makes celebration cakes for weddings, birthdays and the like – all seasonal and organic, of course.
