The Lambing Shed Farm Shop and Kitchen
Moseley Hall Farm is home to 250 cattle, over 2,500 sheep, and in the barn once used for newborn lambs and their ewes, The Lambing Shed Farm and Cafe.
Its core produce is the farm’s award-winning home-reared beef and lamb, which you’ll find stuffed into home-cured salt beef sandwiches, ground into home-reared beef and lamb burgers, and cooked in home-made pies. Or you can buy it in whichever cuts and joints you fancy at the Lambing Shed’s butcher’s counter, which was named by The Times as one of the best in Britain.
The farm shop is an emporium of local produce with 45 independent suppliers and small businesses stocking the shelves and counters with everything from beer and gin to artisan cheeses and homemade cakes. The deli offers The Lambing Shed’s own sausage rolls as well as home-cooked cold meats plus olives, oils and vinegars.
The café serves quality breakfasts, lunches, and afternoon teas, including options for children. If you’re looking for a field-to-fork experience, head here: the farm’s own steaks, burgers and sausages all feature on the menu.
