TexStyle
TexStyle is a new craft festival celebrating the delight of making and creating. The event is the first of its kind for Manchester, bringing independent creatives from all over the country to Manchester Central for a weekend of crafting and connection.
TexStyle: Saturday 14 March and Sunday 15 March 2026
It’s an opportunity to come together with like-minded hobbyists and craft enthusiasts. Share your love for knitting, sewing, felting, dyeing, spinning, weaving, crochet and all sorts of textile techniques, from embroidery to macrame.
There’s no better place to browse supplies for your favourite crafts; natural yarns in every colour under the sun, knitting needles, dyes and crochet hooks are just a small selection of what’s available.
Be inspired and learn a skill too. The festival features hands-on workshops that will keep you busy. Whether it’s making your own sheepskin mules or creating a macrame string bag, you’ll love getting to grips with new techniques.
The workshops, and in fact the whole festival, are a great way to spend time with friends or family. With tickets priced from just £12, TexStyle offers value, creativity and fun.
As Sunday 15 March is Mother’s Day, you could even book tickets for some tactile textile bonding. To make the experience even more special, upgrade your Sunday ticket to include a cream tea at Junction, Manchester Central’s all-day cafe-bar.
Does this sound like something you want to be a part of? Do you have a skill to share or craft supplies you’d like to exhibit?
