Mulligans
If you’re a fan of cosy pubs with good beer and great craic, Mulligans will be right up your alley. Located in the heart of the city, just off Deansgate, it’s full of character and is Manchester’s oldest authentic Irish pub.
Look out for live traditional music, and sports on the screens including GAA and horse-racing. They’ve got six taps serving Guinness on draught plus a range of their own beers including an oyster stout, a berry cider and a pale ale.
There’s also nine recently refurbished hotel rooms, perfect if you prefer a short journey from the bar to your bed.
In 2024, Mulligans added a new upstairs area that more than doubles the pub’s capacity, offering more space for live music, sports, and private events. The renovated second floor features multiple levels, high ceilings, Irish paraphernalia and table service via QR code.
