Hidden away behind the main Canal Street drag on Bloom Street, The Goose is like a local village pub with a genuine community feel. If Cheers was a British gay-bar, this would be it.

Popular local drag queens are in charge of weekend entertainment and there’s also the Wednesday quiz with Misty Chance, Miss Verry Cherry and KY Kelly ruling the roost.

It’s got a reputation for being friendly and welcoming, and for having a slightly older crowd than some of the bars on the main strip.
