At first glance, The Washhouse on Shudehill seems exactly that; a washhouse. But look beyond the clothes draped over washing machines, cartons of Daz and laundry baskets, and you’ll find a secret bar. Pick up the phone to alert the team of your arrival and you’ll be welcomed into a smoky, sultry cocktail-shaking speakeasy.

Each cocktail has its own story and most come with sweet treats or extras like flavoured vapes, ice creams and edible sand. At night, it’s transformed into a club, complete with a slide and disco toilet.
