Alex’s Bakery
After beginning their cake-making journey at Manchester’s Artisan Markets in 2014, Alex’s Bakery ditched the stall for a store front and are now located in the Great Northern on Deansgate.
They produce fresh, hand-made cakes and brownies daily with new creations popping up every week. Fan favourites include the stuffed Bueno brownie and Jammy Dodger blondie.
As well as sweet treats, Alex’s Bakery also sells lunch items such as paninis and soups and soft drinks including coffee and milkshakes.
You can eat in or takeaway, and they’ve recently launched a home delivery service. They also have a concession stand at Debenhams in the Trafford centre should you need a sugary pick-me-up whilst shopping.
