Café Blah
Café Blah is back in a new location after being priced out of their old home across the road. A lot of community support helped re-open this venue, proving there’s something special offered here.
Café Blah is a café-gallery hybrid and a creative hub. The venue moves from coffee spot by day to bar at night hosting everything from art exhibitions to street parties. Locals are encouraged to put on their own community-led events, and it’s known for championing young talent.
Foodwise, Café Blah specialises in vegan and vegetarian nibbles. The characterful interior has an eclectic feel with mismatched chairs and dim red lighting that looks like it could have been lifted straight from a European art café. While there’s no official outdoor seating, there is a lone stool out the front under their iconic sign where you can perch for a quick smoke.
