Albert’s Worsley
Albert’s Worsley is a reliable option, especially if you’re trying to please a big group. Even if you don’t get the best food in the world, you’ll get a menu full of crowd-pleasers, great service and all the buzz, which is the main reason people flock to Albert’s.
It’s a place to see and be seen as you tuck in to everything from pan seared king scallops with Bombay potatoes to aromatic lamb and halloumi salad, from smoked haddock risotto to rabbit and vegetable fricassée.
There’s always a lively atmosphere but Albert’s is as good a bet with toddlers or grandparents as it is with friends. There’s a good cocktail list and private dining available too – it’s exactly the sort of place that gets booked up with baby showers and anniversary dos. It’s an all-day affair with brunches and afternoon teas as well as lunches and dinners.
The outdoor seating area is very pleasant – and it’s heated, so you can make the most of the sun’s rays, whether you’re bagging the last outside table during a summer heatwave or gamely enjoying the first alfresco meal of the year.
