Covino
Covino Restaurant and Wine Bar is a small, owner-run establishment located in the heart of Chester. Since its inception as a wine bar and shop in 2016, Covino has grown to offer a unique dining experience that focuses on seasonally inspired small plates and an extensive selection of over 130 different wines from around the world.
The menu at Covino is constantly changing, with a focus on the quality and provenance of ingredients. This results in simple and flavourful dishes that are designed to be paired perfectly with the carefully chosen wine selection.
The restaurant’s evolution into a full-service dining establishment began when it moved to its current location on Northgate Street in 2018. Today, Covino continues to offer a warm and inviting atmosphere, where guests can enjoy a variety of small plates and pair them with their choice of wine from the extensive list. Owned and run by the same team that opened Climat in Manchester city centre in late 2022, Covino is an essential stop in Chester.
