Furusato Bar & Grill
Dave Fitzsimmons (previously 60 Hope Street, Host) opened Furusato the Pan-Asian bar and restaurant after returning from working in some of the top restaurants in Dubai.
Furusato means hometown in Japanese which is a pretty fitting name considering Dave returned to his roots to open the restaurant and now puts together plates that reflect his global influences: Thailand, Japan, India and more.
Different dining options mean you can visit for any occasion. The small plates consist of the likes of tender Korean chicken wings (which are a favourite for anyone who has visited more than once), crispy fried ham hock and a ginger, soybean and soba noodle salad.
If you’re hungry for more, the large plates like Thai green chicken curry, pan-fried sea bass and sesame soy udon noodles will fill you right up. If you’ve still got room, desserts like the whipped Yuzu cheesecake will give you that sweet finish.
Furusato is a welcome addition to North Liverpool and offers daytime and evening dining as well as bottomless brunch, a discounted Early Doors menu deal, live music, midweek football matches and more.
