House of Social
House of Social is both student accommodation and an open-to-all food hall, but it’s a world away from your average university cafeteria.
Current traders include curry mile megastars Mughli, and London-born Burger & Beyond whose take on Americana burgerama is proving popular in their first venture outside the capital.
Other kitchens include Choi Wan, a casual Chinese with posh pedigree from the much-admired Victor Yu, plus OK Taqueria which bursts with irreverent fun flavours. Dough Religion is the fifth and final trader with their supersize 18″ pizzas.
House of Social lacks the frenetic energy found in some food halls but it feels more spacious and relaxed as a result. Live soul, DJs and dance parties crank up the atmosphere at the weekend.
