Junction
Junction is the new all-day destination at Manchester Central. It’s ideal for conference delegates but it’s also open to the general public and thank goodness. This bar, restaurant and social workspace does everything from coffee to cocktails with consummate flair.
The food offering lies somewhere between Modern British and more global influences but what stands out is the use of quality ingredients, from rare breed pork to Burford Brown eggs.
Typical dishes vary from small plates like muhammara and flatbreads or salt cod croquettes to larger plates of miso grilled squash with aubergine caponata or stone bass with pressed potato, samphire and mussels.
In fact, the humble sausage butty was a recent Confidential dish of the month, helped by Junction’s approach to focusing on the details.
From standout breakfasts and relaxed lunches to late night get-togethers over small plates, Junction gets it right on every level. It’s also one of the best spots for remote working in the city centre.
Junction is open Monday to Saturday 8am – 10pm and closed on Sundays.
