La Parrilla Lark Lane
La Parrilla Lark Lane is the third opening for a local mini-chain that has had the honour of being voted ‘Best Restaurant in Liverpool’ on TripAdvisor before now.
And while nobody will be praising La Parrilla for authenticity, its brand of sombrero-wearing, mariachi-playing Mexican food is hard not to like.
The menu is largely Tex-Mex classics from the enchiladas, fajitas and burritos family, with some char grilled fresh seafood and steaks available too. Their house chilli level is ‘mild’ so ask them to turn it up a little if when you order if you’re a fan of fiery food.
For drinks, fruity cocktails suit the vibe well. Go for a Mexican Sunset made with Southern Comfort, amaretto, grenadine, orange and pineapple juice. Or let the afternoon slide by with a glass of Sangria in hand.
The sunshine atmosphere, friendly staff, and fresh, rainbow-bright dishes won over diners at their Waterloo and Bold Street branches. We see no reason why the Lark Lane La Parrilla won’t do the same.
