Source (previously known as HRiSHi) is a Michelin Star restaurant located at The Gilpin Hotel near Windermere in the Lake District.

Head chef, Ollie Bridgwater, joins Source from Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck in Bray, Berkshire (which has held an impressive three Michelin stars for almost 25 years). Ollie worked with Heston for 14 years, holding his title as sous chef since 2017, before moving on to start his next culinary journey at The Gilpin.

Ollie and his team work with local suppliers to create seasonal, expertly crafted dishes from quality produce. Their current tasting menu features beautifully curated dishes such as sourdough, cultured butter and whipped bone marrow, and roast Scottish langoustine, celeriac and black truffle. They also have a separate plant-based menu. Wine pairings and additional cheese courses can be added to complete the experience.
