Manchester Aquatics Centre reopened this week after an 18-month closure. With expanded and refurbished gym facilities alongside its two swimming pools and diving pool, it’s one of Manchester’s best fitness facilities. But it’s not short of competition.

Here we’ve gathered together some of the best gyms with pools in Manchester, with options for all budgets from the ultra-luxe Spa & Gym at The Edwardian Manchester to the accessibly-priced Y Club on Liverpool Road.  If you like to follow a class or a strength session with a swim, this list is for you.
