New Union Hotel
New Union Hotel is a show bar and place to stay on the city’s vibrant Canal Street. It’s also got an impressive history, being one of the first openly gay venues in Manchester back in 1860.
For over a hundred years, this family run pub-cum-hotel has been at the heart and soul of Manchester’s now well-established Gay Village. Today, the New Union Hotel brings a fun and lively atmosphere to the people of Manchester, with regular karaoke nights, DJs and drag cabaret.
They offer clean, ‘no-frills’ hotel rooms for those visiting the city. Each room comes with its own modern en-suite and access to free Wi-Fi. You’ll also find complimentary tea and coffee, a wall-mounted TV and memory foam mattresses for a comfortable night’s stay.
Whether you’re after a quiet pint in the pub and a game of pool, or somewhere you can dance the night away, the New Union Inn has it all. You’re guaranteed an eventful evening with the opportunity to make new friends along the way.
