The Bridge
Located in a Grade II Listed building from 1626, The Bridge is full of charm, whether you’re going for a weekend away or Sunday lunch. This hotel and restaurant sits on the banks of the River Bollin in the picturesque Cheshire village of Prestbury, and has been newly refurbished.
The rooms are lovely with four poster beds or grand upholstered headboards but they also have a modern sensibility with everything demanding contemporary travellers need. The botanical bath products are lovely.
We also love the free bike hire provided by The Bridge – great for exploring the local area on two wheels.
The restaurant is big on quality local produce. It’s a dining destination in its own right with dishes like grilled seabass with sautéed potatoes and roasted cherry tomato caponata salad, a classic steak burger and British pork chops from the grill with buttered savoy cabbage, apple purée and roasted celeriac.
What ties all the different aspects of The Bridge together is hospitality. Hotel guests, diners, newlyweds and corporate delegates are all looked after impeccably.
