Belle Vue Racers
The distinctive black and white vests of the Belle Vue Racers are a familiar sight at both road and cross-country races in and around Manchester.
This running club was founded back in 1989 by ex-rugby player Eddie Cheetham. They were originally based in Longsight, but found a new home at SportCity after the 2002 Commonwealth Games. Their Thursday night track session is held there, at Manchester Regional Arena, while their Tuesday night road session is held in Heaton Mersey.
With two qualified coaches leading the training, this is the club to join if you want to see improvements in your endurance, PBs and race placings.
All levels of runner are welcome from beginners to elite athletes. The training is tailored to ensure everyone gets the most of the session.
