SEESAW
This attractive space will appeal to people who want a less corporate, more creative feel for their working day. Housed in a former textile warehouses on Princess Street, it’s on the ground floor next to the SEESAW cafe and the Korean kitchen, RamYum.
The hum of background noise will suit some people – no need to put on your ‘busy cafe sounds’ ambient playlist in here. In fact, community is a big part of what they offer. SEESAW is an events space as well as a workspace with a regular schedule of poetry nights, art shows, yoga classes and creative workshops. There’s also a members’ Slack channel if you want to make friends that way.
Choose from window desks or shared tables with comfy leather chairs. There are six booths for phone calls, a meeting room for hire, plus tea, coffee, fruit and granola. You get daylight from the big windows plus desk lamps for those grey days. All in all, it feels cosy yet productive.
The rates are currently £12 for a half day (four hours), £24 for a full day (9am-5pm), or £4.50 an hour. Or you can become a member from £175 per month and get extra perks including 25% off hot drinks at the cafe and exclusive access to their rooftop space, just to name a few.
