Rain City Tattoo Collective
Established in 2012, Rain City are proud lovers of all things traditional when it comes to tattooing. They have a big respect for tattoo history and pride themselves on creating bold, characterful designs.
You can find them in the heart of Chinatown at Nicholas Street, on the third floor above T.La Art & Craft Gallery.
Those interested in blackwork, colour traditional and Japanese traditional tattoo styles can marvel at the many classic and modernised designs that coat the shop walls.
Amongst their resident artists is Ryan Maiden who enjoys working with bold colours and thick lines to create well executed, distinctive tattoos.
Or if you’re looking for a traditional Japanese piece or planning a sleeve, Gre Hale is your guy. With a graphical approach to traditional tattooing, Gre includes plenty of detail and carefully considered shading to make his work look as authentic as possible.
Examples of both artists’ work are pictured below. Call for walk-in availability or to make an enquiry.
