Muse
Local favourite Muse is an urban cocktails and small plates-style place up in the hills beyond Oldham, from the same team that runs the nearby Farrars Arms and Slyce.
With exposed bricks, neon signs, and booth seating, the decor matches the contemporary food. On the menu you’ll find global small plates such as lobster tacos, halloumi fries, and popcorn chicken. They offer a small selection of sushi, plus flatbreads, salads, and more substantial mains such as a teriyaki glazed salmon sticky rice bowl.
There’s a decent-sized terrace and garden with covering. If you’re visiting Uppermill from the city, you’ll be wanting some of that fresh, country air after all.
