GAIL’s Bakery King Street
GAIL’s Bakery on King Street is the latest Manchester addition to this London-born chain, following the success of their Altrincham and Didsbury sites.
During peak times, you’ll see queues out the door for their fresh bread and pastries, which are baked in store each day. Sweet and savoury offerings include ham and cheese croissants, gigantic blueberry muffins, and pistachio and rose-flavoured buns.
There’s a decent-sized seating area downstairs, should you want to work and sip coffee with the smell of freshly baked goods wafting through the air.
