Salut Wines is a proper wine bar of the sort you don’t see very often in the UK. There are no aspirations to hip bar style and no jumping on the latest trend bandwagon, just excellent wines, many of which are available by the glass thanks to Enomatic wine dispensers. In fact, letting the wine speak for itself is what makes Salut such a cool spot.

It’s also an excellent place to buy wine with a broad range of around 400 wines to tempt you and take home. You can shop online with click and collect, national next working day delivery or even Deliveroo and UberEats but it’s much more fun to browse in person.

The mixed wine cases are very popular; the team know their stuff and their selections are reliably good. Or, you can always ask for advice on a bottle or on putting together your own selection box. There are lots of very drinkable options for around £20. You can go higher but Salut does very well at this mid-price point.
