The Butcher’s Quarter
You’ll find The Butcher’s Quarter on Tib Street, nestled in the city’s trendy Northern Quarter. They pride themselves on sourcing the finest artisan suppliers with which to stock their fridges and shelves.
All fresh meat is sourced from local farms and there’s a comprehensive selection of cured meats and cheeses, perfect for entertaining (or just as a special weekend treat).
You’ll also find international wines to accompany your prime cuts, ideal for both cooking and glugging at dinner parties.
Beef comes from free-range, grass-fed cattle from two farms in Cheshire and are 28-38 days dry aged on average. Lamb, chicken and pork are from well-looked after animals that have been reared outdoors.
Inspired by butchers and delis in Rome, The Butcher’s Quarter also has its own tasting rooms dedicated to sampling the products on offer. There’s pre-planned tasting events throughout the year that you can book, or you can just pop in and pull up a pew to sample some of their Serrano ham and gorgonzola.
